7 Magical Christmas Light Trails in Kent for 2025

I know it might seem early, but I can’t help it—as soon as autumn colors fade, my mind immediately jumps to the amazing Christmas light trails. For me, these walks are what way to start the festive season.

Last year, I had the chance to see the lights and illuminations at St. Augustin’s Abbey in Canterbury and Tunbridge Castle, and honestly, walking through those sparkling lights and seeing the historic buildings illuminated by colourful lights was one of the most memorable parts of my winter.

Because those memories were so special, I’m already looking forward to this year’s lineup! Kent is really pulling out all the stops for 2025, with new events like the trails at Port Lympne and Brands Hatch, plus the return of classics at Leeds Castle and Hever Castle.

I’ve put together all the key details you need—locations, dates, and ticket prices—so you can plan your own incredible winter walk.
