So what is ‘Handmade Kent’?

It’s mainly blog about Kent (yes, I know that bit is obvious…), but also hub for handmade and creative business based in Kent.

I have lived and worked in Kent for more then 18 years and from the beginning loved taking long walks in beautiful Kentish countryside, finding out hidden treasures (yes, I’m talking about those great country pubs tucked away, where you can sit next to a burning fire and get the lowdown on local gossip) and learning more about the rich history.

Kent as place is a very special to me, this is where I spend most of my time, run my own creative business and meet my friends. Handmade Kent Blog is also a place where I  want to showcase the talent that Kent has. People, small businesses and creative business owners that are working tirelessly to bring the best they have to offer to the wider Kent community.

And until now, you might not have heard of them, so we wanted to put that right.
